"Confidence is a feeling, that comes from with in, and we all have it"


What is Confidence?

According to the dictionary this is the definition;

the feeling or belief that one can rely on someone or something; the state of feeling certain about the truth of something. a feeling of self-assurance arising from one's appreciation of one's own abilities or qualities

I ask you what is one word that is in each one of those sentences?? Feeling!!! All confidence is, is a feeling, it is how you “feel”. And the good news is that we have control over how we feel and the only way to get to the feeling of confidence is to take action and steps to get there even when we “don’t feel like it”.

You don’t just one day wake up and are confident, you have to work to get there. That means that you have to wake up in the morning and choose to make your day what you want it to be.

There are going to be tough days, and yes, life is going to throw you curve balls, BUT you are the only one who controls how you react to that situation.

Think about the situation that we are all in right now with COVID 19. We could go through our days thinking the worst and what is that going to do for us, well it will make us feel depressed, sad and even angry.

Flip side; we could choose to make the best of the situation that we are in. Instead of being angry that we have to wear a mask we can choose to support the small businesses that are required to follow the rules or risk getting fined. Instead of feeling like we are trapped at home we can take that time to do some personal development. Instead of thinking this is never going to end we can think “this too shall pass”.

When you make the choice to control how you react and how you feel about certain situations you will then feel CONFIDENT that you are in control of your life. You make the decisions; you make the choices and you create the feelings! The feeling that we all strive for is to feel confident!
